Seriously seriously calling bullshit on this test LOL. This character is a CIA field agent, ex-SEAL, and based off Vin Diesel for looks and whatnot, who is currently surviving a modern-day zombie apocalypse in a roleplay with a friend.

The quiz thinks Marc is a: Lawful Neutral Human Ranger/Sorcerer (3rd/2nd Level)

Ability Scores:
Strength- 17
Dexterity- 17
Constitution- 16
Intelligence- 15
Wisdom- 13
Charisma- 14

Alignment:
Lawful Neutral- A lawful neutral character acts as law, tradition, or a personal code directs him. Order and organization are paramount to him. He may believe in personal order and live by a code or standard, or he may believe in order for all and favor a strong, organized government. Lawful neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you are reliable and honorable without being a zealot. However, lawful neutral can be a dangerous alignment when it seeks to eliminate all freedom, choice, and diversity in society.

Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Primary Class:
Rangers- Rangers are skilled stalkers and hunters who make their home in the woods. Their martial skill is nearly the equal of the fighter, but they lack the latter's dedication to the craft of fighting. Instead, the ranger focuses his skills and training on a specific enemy a type of creature he bears a vengeful grudge against and hunts above all others. Rangers often accept the role of protector, aiding those who live in or travel through the woods. His skills allow him to move quietly and stick to the shadows, especially in natural settings, and he also has special knowledge of certain types of creatures. Finally, an experienced ranger has such a tie to nature that he can actually draw on natural power to cast divine spells, much as a druid does, and like a druid he is often accompanied by animal companions. A ranger's Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that he can cast.

Secondary Class:
Sorcerers- Sorcerers are arcane spellcasters who manipulate magic energy with imagination and talent rather than studious discipline. They have no books, no mentors, no theories just raw power that they direct at will. Sorcerers know fewer spells than wizards do and acquire them more slowly, but they can cast individual spells more often and have no need to prepare their incantations ahead of time. Also unlike wizards, sorcerers cannot specialize in a school of magic. Since sorcerers gain their powers without undergoing the years of rigorous study that wizards go through, they have more time to learn fighting skills and are proficient with simple weapons. Charisma is very important for sorcerers; the higher their value in this ability, the higher the spell level they can cast.

So, I did this a while ago, here. My new class (wizard) amuses me, but I call bullshit on the wisdom score. To the point that it annoys me. Silly quiz. Personally, I'd rather stick with the old results (CN Human Bard). Meanwhile:

The quiz now thinks I am a: Chaotic Neutral Human Wizard (5th Level)

Ability Scores:
Strength- 10
Dexterity- 12
Constitution- 8
Intelligence- 13
Wisdom- 11
Charisma- 11

Alignment:
Chaotic Neutral- A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. A chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). A chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random. He is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it. Chaotic neutral is the best alignment you can be because it represents true freedom from both society's restrictions and a do-gooder's zeal. However, chaotic neutral can be a dangerous alignment when it seeks to eliminate all authority, harmony, and order in society.

Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Class:
Wizards- Wizards are arcane spellcasters who depend on intensive study to create their magic. To wizards, magic is not a talent but a difficult, rewarding art. When they are prepared for battle, wizards can use their spells to devastating effect. When caught by surprise, they are vulnerable. The wizard's strength is her spells, everything else is secondary. She learns new spells as she experiments and grows in experience, and she can also learn them from other wizards. In addition, over time a wizard learns to manipulate her spells so they go farther, work better, or are improved in some other way. A wizard can call a familiar- a small, magical, animal companion that serves her. With a high Intelligence, wizards are capable of casting very high levels of spells.

Class:
Bards often serve as negotiators, messengers, scouts, and spies. They love to accompany heroes (and villains) to witness heroic (or villainous) deeds firsthand, since a bard who can tell a story from personal experience earns renown among his fellows. A bard casts arcane spells without any advance preparation, much like a sorcerer. Bards also share some specialized skills with rogues, and their knowledge of item lore is nearly unmatched. A high Charisma score allows a bard to cast high-level spells.

Thoughts: As I look it over... yeah, I guess that's close. Nevermind that a lot of the quiz questions were "pick the answer that is the least unlike me because they're all pretty much not answer's I'd pick." Hmm, I got a kinda cruddy charisma score for a bard. XD

*pets them* Yeah, the AD&D 4th Edition gift set showed up early. Reeeally early. The irony is, when they showed up I was in the middle of rolling Shase as a D&D char. I kept going on the 3.5 ruleset cuz who knows where he'll get used (plus it's not like I can't transfer his stats and stuff assuming whoever is DM lets me keep the rolls)... but yes. All other plans for the day have been thoroughly derailed. xD

Mmmmmm.... *goes back to petting hardbound inanimate objects*

Hehee. Uh. I can't get Riddick goggles this month. Just isn't happening. In minor angst I wandered over to Amazon and saw the core rulebook gift set for D&D 4e... for $66. That's less than two of the books retail.

Somebody's getting a box somewhere after August 1st. ^^ Sucks that they're not available till July 27th, but oh well. *bounces!!*

And I can soooo still get teh goggles next month regardless.

So yeah. Happy. Happy happy. Especially after slugging through a few reviews (good and bad) along with comments to said reviews. BRING ON TEH 4E!

I present to you my self-made Furyan race for Advanced Dungeons And Dragons.

Race: Furyan

Normal human bonuses.
Racial modifications: +2 str, +2 con, +1 dex, +5 wis, -10 cha

(Character must have at least 11 charisma from initial setup rolls before racial modifications.)

Yup, I created this so I could make Richard B. Riddick for AD&D and get a char sheet that actually looked fairly in-character. Also I'm showing off my new MCR icon. *ninja*

My kid brother fanart'd Pocky and also drew his own D&D character we set up the other day for kicks. I may try doing a small newbie campaign with him and Pocky... confused about a few combat rules, but whatever. Brain's frying at the moment.

I've joined one of the current crazes at DA, the 100 theme art challenge. So far I've done three pics: Fen & Malfoy (WTF!?), Vampire Exec (vampire), oh craaaap (oh crap...). I like how the Fen & Malfoy one turned out. ♥ Anyways, the idea behind the challenge is to make up 100 themes that a picture could be about or have something to do with, and then do a picture for each one. It can be anything from a sketch to a finished work, no photomanipulations tho. The list with links to finished pictures is here.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay I played D&D for the first time evar, with [livejournal.com profile] ciderbarrel and [livejournal.com profile] aridiar. My character Pocky Stix etc etc is now a level 2 chaotic neutral gnome cleric who's a total airhead and so annoying I annoyed myself. LOL. Fun. XD

Read what Pocky has to say about it all )

Edit: hehee.. posted the madness at DA.

Candy is sleeping on my recycling pile (which still doesn't have a box/bag to contain it and is growing rapidly). There's stuff I don't want out in the hall, and crappy signs taped all over shelves for where to put stuff. They're temporary cuz I just wanna get all the things of one type in one area (like, hmm, the movies/dvds that are spread all over and that's just one example). So far most of the areas have all the wrong things in them, but some are starting to shape up. (And no, I haven't yet found my scissors... or the two booster packs of Magic cards I know are in here somewhere... and now my hand mirror is missing.)

And there is lottts to go. But I took a break because I found some old writings I haven't looked at in ages. I posted them at DA, links to follow. Some of this was already posted at FictionPress but I'm not sure about all of it. And all of it is short works.

1995-ish and earlier poetry/prose @ DA: The Slime-Oozing Radioactive Aliens Go To Oz - I am a dreaming teenager - America, the Boo-ti-ful - A Description Of A Place

P.S. I forgot to say (I think) that Candy got very, very sick two days ago from a flea bath she got at the vet. We had to take her back later that evening because she threw up three times and barely moved / was extremely weak. She is allll better now and thrilled to be in my room again cuz I let her in since she's relatively flealess. Kittehhhh ♥ ♥ ♥

Edit@8:30pm: More written stuff up at DA (and yeah I'm getting further on my room yay!!) plus one art entry: DnD style character past generator - which led to a new deviantID - EverQuest haiku overload - haiku 4 stoopid people - Trapped
