*fallz over ded*

Dude, I made two kinds of chili today. One with beans and one without but with some really hot peppers (cute little things) that Mom got for me to try last shopping trip. Goodstuff. That's not the only reason I'm tired: I've had a sick hammi to take care of for the last couple days. =( He's doing better but he needed the ham-ham version of X-Lax. Poor lil' guy. I also discovered that his bedding was pine which is baaaaaaaaad for hamsters and I *know* this but apparently my kid sister didn't (it was leftover from her hammi). I never even thought to look at the bag until the other night. So Darcy has toilet paper in his cage for now, an acceptable temporary bedding material according to various hamster forums, which he seems to like and plus it helps me keep track of how his plumbing is going. I've got some packaged paper-based bedding now for him too, but I think I'll keep the cage like it is for a couple more days.

Nothing like weird hamster noises waking you up half the night. So tired... gonna hop on Maple and see if anyone's alive and then go pass out for a while. If you don't see me online in the next couple days, I'm going to take my PC apart, possibly give it a new hard drive, DVDR/W and a better 3D card (parts from my parents' dead-and-gone Dell)... whatever works in my case with my motherboard anyways. Aaand I'm gonna try upgrading to a fresh install of Windows 2000 now that my parents don't need it anymore (they have XP on the new thing). Also, kid sister's machine gets a new hard drive so it's actually working again. I spent a lot of today getting the parents' new EMachine set up with their files from the old hard drive and what not. Internet keeps going out on it, once due to the network card magically disabling itself, and once cuz... cuz... I have no clue, but rebooting fixed it. Yeesh. So tired. So brain dead.
