I'm going to work on a website for a friend of the family. One problem: it will be in Persian. In theory I can cut and paste any text/articles she sends me and go from there. I've gotta check and be sure I have the right language packs for Internet Explorer and stuff. And if the project dead ends for whatever reason I'll just consider it practice. And if it takes off, I might make a little $ off it! I don't even know what to charge, so I told her if she likes what I do and it goes online and all that, she can give me whatever she wants. She already has the "dot org" and hosting ready. Anyways I'll do more with that tomorrow cuz I really should get some sleep before therapy tomorrow. Here's hoping I don't spend the next six or seven hours lying on my couch wishing I was asleep....... or doing something more interesting.

I got my Morrowind screen shots! They turned out pretty darn good. So those will be worked into my Morrowind page at my site soon.

Hi Darcy!

Is Persian anything like Arabic? I know someone who makes a living somehow translating western european keyboard characters into Arabic for email. The website is: http://www.alefbeh.com/. It looks cool.

Oh, that was me. And that Arabic text I think refers to an author who believes people should join the Iraqi resistance. So that's why your website is getting hits from the computers at the department of homeland security.

Yeah it looks similar but I think it's different.. I think.. I dunno, I did one test page so far just to be sure I could see the Persian (cuz otherwise it'd look like it does in Notepad, a whole lot of little squished block characters, not unlike this: |||||). And you're right, alafbeh.com is cool, but then the Arabic script is pretty, kinda like Japanese. I like all the artsy looking alphabets... pretty is pretty. And that was redundant.

LOL so that's what the FBI was here for this morning. Just kidding...that would be amusing though. Heck, I have no clue what that one test page I've got online says... LOL.
