City of Villains / City of Heroes - pics and stuff

This game is a bit different from the average MMO, in that the whole loot concept is pretty much gone (and really, what's a super villain or hero gonna do with loot?). What you do get is collectable item-thingies (forgot the name) that you use to make your powers stronger, faster, less power-consuming, etc. Also, you get items that are temporary one-use things like healing up, power-restoring, armor-increasing, attack-upping, etc. All these things are neatly organized into little compartments of the menu system.

But yeah, I'm currently playing a free trial and like it. On with teh pics:

Better shot of the three, with height comparison. Characters can be much taller than this, but Tirsden is as short and slim as it gets; Riddick is 6 feet tall.




This is actually a hero, designed after... me... lol. I called her The Hurricane Princess. xP
This image is here mostly cuz I thought the Lara Croft glasses were hilarious, and also to show how many color options you have for most of the character creation section. Also, this is before I changed the body shape options cuz they were unrealistic compared to me (but uhh, technically the general character design is extremely stylized lol).

Shane's ID in the game (note that I changed the big text area in all the IDs from green to grey in Photoshop... it turns green any time you look at your own ID because it's expecting you to edit the info).




Riddick's ID ...and the down side of having both characters is that they WILL never see each other! D'oh lol... but I really don't wanna give either one up. xD




Tirsden's ID, and a much better closeup of her eyes/shirt and teh KITTEH PLUSHIE! ♥ Her battle cry is thanks to finding out that in Japanese anime (and prolly their culture in general) a cat says "nya nya" instead of "meow" like in the US.
Tirsden is my favorite character so far for play style, and thus has seen the most action.
