psycho hamster from hell
Sep. 6th, 2004 07:29 pmHis name is Darcy Vash Bingley, and he's cuuuuute... but definitely psychotic. I swear he's studied up on Matrix fight moves or something. He hasn't bitten anyone at least, but he isn't exactly friendly yet. Of course, that's more of a normal hamster thing... it'll just take time. Psycho...
Anyways I got him at PetCo on Saturday, and he's a teddy-bear hamster (he has Hamtaro's colors more or less). I'm gonna see if I can get him in the hamster ball this evening, he's really jumpy and verrrry fast. Lil' Sis's ham-ham is either more mellow or just getting old and lazy.
Other than that, I've got my own copies of Beverly Hills Cop 1 - 3 which I've been watching while scrapbooking into the wee hours of the morning. I'm redoing two old 5-subject notebooks which for some reason years ago I thought would make "fun" scrap books. And I used a lot of staples and some pretty hardy craft glue.... at least the things that don't survive being removed from the pages are just less things to cram into the new binders. I've already filled two 2" binders and I still have the biggest scrap-note-book thing to go. I've spent over $100 on supplies for this... but it'll be cool when it's done (and the first two binders are already a lot of fun to peruse). I've got two more binders as of today, and a bunch more glue sticks. Yup.
Uh, what else... oh yes, I definitely like Warcraft III. Very fun, big huge time sucker though. In fact I haven't blown so much time without realizing it since.... I started playing EQ over 5 years ago? Something like that. Although I'm obsession oriented anyways so it's just another thing to add to the list. I haven't had time to play EverQuest... I've got a shelf thing to hang on my wall to display my game, anime, and other figures, and I just finished giving it a nice black coat of paint yesterday. My room is looking much better, a few finishing touches and getting the boxes (two large boxes) of scrap book project stuff off the floor whenever I finish that will really clean things up in there.
And ya know what's funny? I thought the hamster would keep me up at night if I kept him in my room... I have slept through the last two nights straight. I haven't done that in years. Either the hammy noises and/or company is actually helping me sleep... or I've been dead tired from scrap-booking until 4am on too many nights =P
