I'm watching Spiral vol. 1 in Japanese for once, and it's amazing... not only are the intro/end credits different (all the English printed words are Japanese instead) but there is a lot in the Japanese dialogue that didn't transfer into the English dub. Of course, there's a lot of stuff said in the English dub that isn't in the Japanese script either. Interesting. I like both versions, but then I'm only done with episode two so I haven't heard the seiyuu's for Eyes and Kousake yet.

Okay then, Eye's voice isn't really all that spectatular, but then it was a major surprise to hear a British accent on the English dub. Good voice casting, really. I imagine the seiyuu (Japanese voice actor) is probably someone popular in Japan (I should look that up) but he's not recognizable to me. And his voice is too quiet, just like the voice in the English dub, which is interesting. Are they trying to make him hard to hear on purpose, or what? Oh well, I'll watch the rest later. I like how the Japanese version explains the murder in episode 2, it makes a whole lot more sense now. Either the English dub expected you to make a leap on intuition on a specific clue, or they ran out of room for the words or didn't find the clue that important. And by that clue I mean "Rai" if you have seen the show in either language.
Ah well... maybe I'll play Morrowind. I have therapy in the morning, and did as much as I could on trying to figure out what to ask the lawyer information people I'm working on trying to actually call at some point. When I sat down to write out my questions about getting a divorce, my mind froze. What I've got down is more like statements, followed by "What should I do?" Heh... maybe it's exactly what I need. It's what I have to show my therapist at any rate, and I know she'll help me along with it if it's wrong or not quite useful yet.
