heh. my hard drive is blank. take that...

Now to see if there's power long enough to do a Windows install. Yesterday we had two random power outages in the afternoon for a couple seconds. No good reason why either, it was sunny and only midly windy. In fact, one of the power outages hit while I was working on webcomic #11 which yes, I finally did post a few minutes ago. It was done yesterday but I was being distracted by the free Dell towers we got from somebody. Both of them take PC100 RAM, which is good, because I had some in my tower so I messed with it and figured out one tower is a P2 400 and the other is a P2 350. Parental units wish to purchase cheep hard drives and RAM for both towers, then the kid siblings will have their own computers.

FIOS update: It was going to be installed on the 5th of July but Mom pushed it back till after the Chicago summer trip (so now, end of July / early August) because on the 5th she'll be at the hospital and I don't wanna deal with the installation guys on my own. It turns out I can watch the installation guy set up the first computer to work with FIOS, and they say it's possible to set it up on other computers all by yourself if you know how. YAY! No freakin' extra $75 fee to set up other computers for FIOS internet (the first computer setup is free due to a deal Verizon has right now). I just need a nice long network cable now. I think Mom might get me one when the time comes. ^_^
