KL-chan has been banned. Why? It turns out some Japanese art site has stolen her art, and then either they or someone else reported copyright violations to DA against KL-chan. Check her pageviews. Her art style is consistent, her (sister?) Kurot is extremely well known in the amateur anime art world (altho I consider her a professional)... and they have the PSD files to prove it's KL-chan's artwork.
Most alledged art thieves on DA get the offending pieces deleted and a harsh note of warning from the helpdesk or deletion bot. KL-chan got outright banned, destroying her stats on the site and for all we know, she'll have to repost all her artwork assuming she gets unbanned. She and Kurot (and probably other fans) are fighting the system at the moment... but it's times like this that really make me wonder what the eff is going on with DA's administration.
