oh, the irony
Oct. 27th, 2004 02:46 pmAfter falling asleep working on my secret story project, I had the following dream:
I was in a town of ancient times, perhaps in Africa or the Middle East. Oh, and I was a man. A slave boy there had been beaten up and abused by someone of high status, and the boy was scheduled to be sacrificed to the gods in the morning. It was the evening before said scheduled event, and I was one of three men in charge of guarding the child.
I decided to save the child and leave all this evil nuttiness behind, even if it meant leaving the life I had known. I knocked out (and possibly killed) the other two guards, and then wrapped the boy in dirty brown burlap (the only thing available, bleh). I carried him out of the place and into the streets, all the way to my home which was situated on quite a bit of land. I was apparently fairly well to do, I owned several horses and even zebras.
Knowing that a moment's hesitation might mean my and the boy's death, I mounted the first horse I came to. It happened to be one of my favorites, even if it was a bit wild. We galloped off and not much more of the dream makes sense (a lot of things kept repeating with various modifications, including adding people to my party and changing time periods) but I did get away with the boy.
Eventually I woke up.
So weird ;) and I've got a cold *ACHOOO* bleh, stupid kids going to school and getting viruses... could be worse I guess, now I have more time to brainstorm over my SEEcret writings. ^_^
