OMFG TURTLES MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!
Dec. 23rd, 2006 12:35 amWent to see Eragon tonite and there was a preview for... omg... TURTTTLESSSSSSSSSSSSS! *dances* All like, shiny CG TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES!!! xD Mustseemustseemustseeeeeee.
Oh yeah, and Eragon was good, I thought. No, I haven't read the book(s)... and I hate Peter Jackson for what he did to LOTR so... I do understand that a lot of people didn't like this movie for similar reasons. And sure, Eragon is a little bit cheesy (and the end credits teen angst pop song is like WTF lol) but ... heck... Escape From LA is cheesy too and I love that movie. So yeah, I likes teh Eragon. I like Jeremy Irons tho, so that helped. And it was good to see some actual visible magic on the big screen for once. Plus if Anne McCaffry never puts out a movie, this is as close as it gets.
Oh, but dude, the place we went to eat (for my birthday, since Friday was better than the day before for going out)... The Great Sage over in PG County somewhere... baaaaaaad call. Was hoping for better considering it was supposed to be a gluten-free joint. They don't even use GF pasta. Oh, and it's vegetarian. If mother unit had remembered to tell me this *before* we were on our way out the door to go eat there, I woulda bailed on the idea long before we made reservations. Not only was the menu limited and not good for people with allergies beyond gluten, but... omg... two words: gag barf. Luckily there was a Wendy's across the shopping center. We also stopped by the Cheesecake Factory after the movie. Mmmmmmm. I can still have cheesecake, just not the crust. xP
So yeah. TURTLESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! ♥ I hope it's good. Something to look forward to... besides the other Harry Potter movies.
