tirsden: a creepy child swings on a creepy swing (slyth3r!n pwnz0rz j00)
[personal profile] tirsden
Yeah I've done this before but I did it again via a quiz at deviantArt, so here we go again.

Stolen from Saphiroko. xD

In order to do this I had to listen to my Pandora.com Quirky Mix ([link]) for a while, and I didn't include songs I thumbs-downed cuz they don't belong on my station anyways. =P The songs are listed with the artist first.

My life's movie soundtrack!

Rules:
1. Open your library
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button

Opening Credits:
Dragonland - Starfall
(Awesome, nothing like some epic metal to start out with. Also the lyrics are fairly fitting.)

Waking Up:
Symphony X - Incantations Of The Apprentice
(More metal, and apparently I need to start making magic or something... yeah, I'd get up for that. Unless the default apprentice incantations are "oooooooog... wtf is so good about mooorrrrningssss...")

First Day At School:
Dreamtale - Lost Souls
(Absolutely, altho the story goes I wanted to go to school at first... I became much more of a lost soul later. And yeah, it's metal again lol. )

Childhood:
Dragonforce - My Spirit Will Go On
(Interesting... some part of me was trying to keep existing when stuff didn't make sense? Yah. Great lyrics on this one, much of life ends up being defined by childhood and this song definitely says a lot. And YES IT'S METAL LOL.)

Falling In Love:
Pet Shop Boys - Minimal
(Eh oh... dude, and the lyrics are vaguely negative too. I'll leave this one open to interpretation. ^^; Unless it's hinting at my difficulty with processing emotions... it's a pretty song at any rate... and check it out, it's not metal!)

Fight Song:
And One - Life Isn't Easy In Germany
(Okaythen. A techno fight song... it's a surreal fight apparently. At least the song sounds somewhat rebellious.)

Breaking Up:
ROC - Journey To The Centre Of Brixton
(Uhhh... huh? It's kinda mellow, somewhat angsty-sounding trance... sure, why not.)

Prom:
Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)
(HOMGSWEET... wait... I didn't have a prom. Plus the lyrics are bittersweet. Heh.)

Life:
The Rasmus - In The Shadows
(Yeah, that says it all. Especially if you know the lyrics.)

College:
Blue Man Group - I Feel Love
(Community college maybe... definitely not my university experience. Wait... this is kinda the way I feel about the art university I think I'd like to go to if I could handle it... maybe that chapter of my life is still waiting for me. =O )

High School:
Alanis Morissette - Fear of Bliss
(The lyrics and dark/angsty style of this song works well for how I feel now about high school...)

Mental Breakdown:
Pink - Gone To California
(Hey, the "university of my dreams" is in CA, let's not screw with that thought eh? That or I'm finally gonna snap and go live in teh land of teh stars. Where's my padded room... xD )

Driving:
Plumb - Free
(Thanks but I hate driving. I've "free" of driving forever as far as I'm concerned. :P This song is awesome, and it fits better if I imagine myself driving in an imaginary world. :D Or going driving with friends... yeah. =D )

Flashback:
Gloria Estefan - Falling In Love (Uh Oh)
(Haha... it works.)

Getting Back Together:
Milk Inc. - The Sun Always Shines On TV
(This song is a techno remix of an 80's song and would be fitting for a "get back together" scene. All I can really say is... "with who!?" cuz nobody I've broken up with is ever getting near me again.)

Wedding:
Elvenking - A Dreadful Strain
(Oh definitely, and the metal returns. My wedding experience is something I wish I could forget entirely.)

Birth of Child:
Endo - Simple Lies
(Eh oh... errm... I'm actually afraid I wouldn't be able to take care of a child. The song style/lyrics make more sense in that light.)

Final Battle:
Linkin Park - One Step Closer (Live)
(Perfect, if it were the studio version.)

Death Scene:
Sevendust - Enemy
(Apparently I'm going down fighting.)

Funeral Song:
Disturbed - Numb
(It works, altho the ending is odd considering... but then if I went down fighting...)

End Credits:
Taproot - Again & Again
(The movie ends with angst rock. Some of the lyrics are spot on and some way off. It works.)

This wasn't part of the original quiz but now that we've seen the soundtrack, the movie needs a title... and so it shall be known as Adventures of the Broke and Misunderstood.
