I made cookies for the apocalypse

At least, you'd think the area was having one with the snow and ice problems and schools being closed for most of the week. So yeah, the cookies were meant to be. And they actually worked this time, I don't know what I did wrong last time... this time they're yummy "chocolate chip cookie" knockoffs. And I think they're great even with unsweetened carob chips in them. I used the recipe on the back of the potato starch flour box, the cookies are 100% gluten free but still not all that good for you considering the sugar content. Yum.

Right now I'm waiting on a leg of lamb I got a while ago for a really great price, it smells SO GOOD and I'm gonna cut it up after it's done and freeze most of it. Yumyumyum. Gotta eat good while the world's ending, y'know. xD

I love leg of lamb! We picked one up at Trader Joes. It was de-boned, pre-rubbed and marinated. Just pop it in the oven for about two hours and gnaw on it. I ate the whole thing by myself in two days.

LOL I can believe that. I haven't actually had any since the day I made it, but things have been chaotic. I got me a lawyer tho! And he doesn't charge vague "expenses" and was actually really surprised to hear that Greenberg and Bederman do. He wanted to see the contract but I hadn't brought it with me; he says Social Security is VERY picky about what disability lawyers can charge, and the G&B thing sounds verrry fishy. I thought about it later, I bet if a person signs the contract it's their own fault because it says right there you owe them expenses no matter what happens... still, it's underhanded and I'm glad I didn't go with them. Hmm... I'm gonna copy and paste and edit this into a new post. xD
