My most common dream symbols
Feb. 17th, 2007 05:39 pmA random observation several months ago, plus lots of forgetting, means I'm finally posting this. Thanks to LiveJournal's tag options, I have all my dreams over on my dream journal tagged by major dream symbols. And I can view them by usage. So my current top twelve dream symbols are:
day, enemy, night, white, run, mother, water, child, friend, black, car, gun
...which sounds about right. I appear to have more dreams about daytime than nighttime, and more about enemies than friends. Also a lot of running. And either black and white are the most noticeable colors in any dream, or they're the ones I notice the most. I usually dream in color, I can only remember two dreams that were actually black and white.
